Costco Travel has announced that it's stopped a popular discount, at least for now.
The Costco Travel website, as of May 19, 2025, contained this announcement: "Costco Travel is not accepting new reservations to the Disneyland Resort. Guests with existing packages through 2025 can still modify their reservations by calling (877) 849-2730."
The website does offer several other travel packages, including one to Walt Disney World in Florida.
Men's Journal has reached out to Costco for comment, including whether the reservations will be accepted in person.
Mouse Planet reported on May 19 that a Costco Disneyland ticket discount was available at "select regional warehouses in California, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho." That deal "does not appear to be available for sale online or through the Costco app," Mouse Planet reported. However, that discount is for tickets, not the Disneyland Resort.
It's not clear whether the situation with Disneyland Resort is permanent or temporary.
According to The Press Democrat, Costco's Disneyland packages "often included perks such as gift cards and pins."
A Reddit thread has already popped up with people discussing the website message.
Reddit users expressed frustration over the change.
"I don't see this being discussed anywhere. Earlier this week everything was working normally as I went to price out a September trip," a person wrote in early May, sharing a screenshot.
Another Reddit user wrote, "This is disappointing, I also was pricing a trip earlier in the week! Gonna miss that gift card."
"Darn, hopefully that comes back. Booking a vacation for myself and then my in laws was the primary source of our 2/3% cash back. Plus the gift card made it easy to budget spending money….: another person wrote.
